WELCA Christmas Luncheon was December 6

Harvest Supper and Talent Show November 5.  Thank you to the Evangelism Committee for handling all the details for this event.

Approximately 80 attended this event.

Group of women and men sang "Just a Little Talk With Jesus"  They did such a good job they must be called on to sing at other things  for the church.  Such talent everywhere.

Norma Klingbeil introduced all the talent events for the evening.

Several of the Sunday School children sang some songs they had learned from Shirley Wubbena.  They were great!

Robin Morton, Linda Thoreson, and Vivian Green showed us their skills with the three of them playing the piano at the same time.  Many fingers on the keyboard.

WELCA gave a skit that pertained to a board meeting they were going to have.  I'm guessing this was not their usual board meeting.  Much laughter was heard from the audience as these ladies out did themselves.

Connie Wix gave several readings.  Some were serious and some were on the funny side.  Good job Connie!

What would an event be without Herb Freese.  Herb recited a poem he had learned many years ago.  We won't say how many.  We can always count on Herb to help out.

Margaret Bohls, Syd Brinkman, and Deb McWhirter did a short script that Margaret had written.  Lots of good writing Margaret.

Charlie Mosher taking it easy waiting for the delicious food to be eaten.

Senior Dinner September 12

Food and Fellowship, what more could you ask for.  The St. James W-ELCA has an annual dinner to show the senior members their appreciation for all the contribute to the church.  Approximately 75 people attended.

A few stories were told, one by Richard Folkerts

Andrea Schrage and Erin Scroggin sang

while Shirley Wubbena played.

More food and fellowship, and of course desert.
